Excellent trip around a beautiful country with a great group of ladies. Everything was very well organised. Kennedy from Chameleon Backpackers was brilliant, and Jemma led the group well from Janet's Journeys side of things. Be prepared for lots of time in the bus/safari vehicle while travelling around the country, but it was all manageable and Kennedy made regular stops for us. I would definitely recommend this trip!

This was my third trip with Janet’s Journeys, having previously travelled to Afghanistan and Papua New Guinea, and now Libya, and I’ve had such memorable experiences on each of them. Across all of the trips I’ve been privileged to meet some of the kindest souls, from the local guides and communities we met to the amazing women I’ve travelled alongside. I’m a huge advocate for travelling to countries that are often misrepresented or reduced to headlines and ‘do not travel’ warnings, and going on Janet’s trips has given me the opportunity to see and experience the humanity, complexity, culture, hospitality and ordinary life that exists beyond those narratives. Going on the trips has expanded my worldview, made me challenge my assumptions and reminded me again and again that the world is far more generous and layered than we are often led to believe! Libya especially was such a beautiful country with so much history and culture, and I’m really grateful to have seen even a small part of it for myself. I travel solo a lot too but one of the best things about Janet’s trips is getting to share these experiences with women who are equally as curious about the world and open to travelling beyond the usual routes too! I’d recommend Janet’s trips to anyone interested in visiting lesser travelled places, especially solo female travellers who might be apprehensive to travel to these countries alone as the trips offer a way to do that with structure, local support and a sense of shared adventure! I had the most wonderful time in Nepal, great food , great company, and the tour brought us to some amazing places in Kathmandu and Kathmandu Valley. This extension after the spiritual Bhutan trip was awesome.
