Excellent trip around a beautiful country with a great group of ladies. Everything was very well organised. Kennedy from Chameleon Backpackers was brilliant, and Jemma led the group well from Janet's Journeys side of things. Be prepared for lots of time in the bus/safari vehicle while travelling around the country, but it was all manageable and Kennedy made regular stops for us. I would definitely recommend this trip!

This trip was amazing. I loved the unique accommodation. Our guide Tina was amazing. She was so knowledgable and enthusiastic. The excursions were brilliant. We got to see so much of Madagascar but some of my highlights were Baobab Avenue, seeing the Injury lemurs calling and the Sakiri lemurs playing on the ground in front of us, and the last day in Nosy By, going to Nosy Iranja and swimming with the manta ray and whale shark. Everyone on the trip was so friendly. I enjoyed this trip so much and it was so well organised.

I had a truly amazing experience visiting Egypt. My expectations were high beforehand, but they were completely exceeded. The reason? We had two exceptional leaders with us – Shannon from JJ and Sameh, our local guide. These two have a wonderful rapport and make such a great team. Both are fun, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. We felt safe and secure at all times, which meant we could simply relax and enjoy every moment of this incredible journey. The itinerary for this trip is jam-packed, but there’s nothing I would leave out. From unique experiences like dinner in a Nubian home to the unforgettable hot air balloon ride, it was truly a dream trip. Our accommodation in Cairo and Luxor was pure luxury, while Aswan was so unique – I’d love to stay there again. And the felucca experience was truly one of a kind. Every little detail was thought of, from cup holders for our drinks to charging points for our devices. It was a trip I’ll never forget, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I am struggling to come up with the words for this trip, amazing doesn't seem enough! Each accomodations was so unique and fabulous! This trip was fun filled and such amazing experiences I would highly recommend anyone to book it. Between the pyramids, temples, valley of the kings and everything else in between it was simple spectacular! The trip was so well organized and our guide was so knowledgeable.

This trip is the perfect example of how all JJ trips should be done! The planning and execution—every single day—was impeccable due to the incredible leadership, kindness, and skills of our dynamic duo leaders Shannon and Sameh. It cannot be understated how helpful and important it is to include all transfers, tips, meals, and activities like this trip did. Not having to think about these things on a daily basis is a central benefit of traveling with a guided group. The food was delicious and authentic, each experience curated for maximum understanding and enjoyment. The historic relevance of each site and the meaning behind what we were going to see at each site was carefully explained by Sameh, our expert Egyptologist! I loved every minute of this trip and group and would urge JJ to add at least one more day so we can get a bit more downtime in between the hectic schedule for pool time or sleep and traveling between destinations.
